A proud Santa Ana native, Alan’s journey into the trades is one defined by resilience, purpose, and heart. Raised in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Santa Ana and guided by his father’s leadership, he learned early that success comes from hard work and lifting others up.
Although he once planned to become an anesthesiologist, an unexpected family event shifted his path. During a summer break — in what was meant to be a punishment — Alan discovered a passion for painting that would shape his entire future.
Determined to build something meaningful, Alan earned his C-33 license during his final semester at California State University, Fullerton. Starting from zero in 2018, he doubled the growth of Alan’s Painting & Decorating year after year through dedication, quality craftsmanship, and community focus.
Beyond running a successful business, Alan uses his work to support underprivileged families and help fund new startups. His mission today is to continue serving others, giving back to the community that raised him, and helping build the next generation of tradespeople through mentorship and opportunity.
